Hand-painted art pottery bird tiles, eight in total comprising four matched pairs, c. 1950. Stamped "PILKINGTON" on verso, indicating the maker of the tile blanks that the artist painted.

This listing is for all eight tiles together. Wonderfully whimsical -- perfect as a backsplash to a small sink or scattered through a larger field of tiles.
