Meticulous reproduction closed-mouth Jumeau bebe c. 1895, made in the 1980s

Meticulous reproduction of a closed-mouth Jumeau bebe c. 1895, made in close emulation of the original.  This was likely made in the 1980s, based on the collection it came from, and would have been very, very costly.  Heavy, solid thing.  Porcelain head, blown paperweight eyes, jointed turned wood and composition body.  Original Jumeaus still sell for many thousands, while this is far more affordable — you could even give it to a child, perhaps to teach them to appreciate the real things they will inherit in the future.
