Native American Bowl Japanese Lacquerware Vermont Indian Chief Bowls 1950s

These are curious things -- a pair of Japanese lacquerware bowls depicting a Vermont Native American (or old parlance Indian) chief in full feathered headdress, doubtless made for the 1950s tourist trade when there was an interest for all things Americana. Really fun, brightly colored and great for display or use.

Decent vintage condition, with minimal wear to the rim as shown. Great pieces, sold together as one set. Each piece measures 8 inches in diameter.
