Oil on Canvas, Industrial Still Life of Rusty Gear, Lock, Brick and Mandolin, signed to reverse N. Davis, c. 1940-1950 -- dare I say masculine? Reminds me of WPA era artists' work.  Inventive use of furniture tacks to hold the canvas (which I think is really linen).  Wonderfully textural surface.
