Plate Chinese Handpainted 1910s Bird Starling Pinfeathers in Flight Chrysanthemum Asian

On offer is a hand painted Chinese porcelain plate with a long inscription on the back, depicting a starling with pinfeathers flying through a clump of chrysanthemums in yellow and pink with embellishments in gold. Extremely well painted and very fine throughout.

The plate measures 8.5 inches in diameter and is in excellent condition save one depression on the rim of the back, which may be something that occurred during firing or a sealed chip. This is entirely invisible from the front of the plate -- the last 2 photos are pictures of the front and back of the same area. Firing flaw or chip, it's completely hidden. Unusually pretty piece.
