Small naive oil on canvas with sgraffito linework and sand added to the pigments, French or more likely North African, possibly Algeria, Morocco or Egypt -- depicting French Colonial architecture, with marvelous tiny figures (woman with dog is my favorite), along with what appears to be the spire of a minaret, c. 1930, excellent condition if a bit grimy, 13.75" T x 8.625" W, $695.
