This is a fascinating object -- likely late 19th century, this Indian engraved urn is in an almost English classical form, but covered in traditional Indian motifs. Possibly originally the base for an oil lamp, or possibly always a straightforward vase.

SIZE: 10.75" T x 5" D

CONDITION: Excellent, as shown. It may be neurotic me, but I think it doesn't stand perfectly straight, but I asked multiple other people, and they don't see it.
